2024... So far!
With the end of March nearing, we thought it would be a good time to reflect on the previous 3 months... they have certainly been busy! To kick off the year, we opened for the legendary Vixen at The Strand in January! We also received nominations for "Best Party Band", "Best Rock Cover Band" (L.S.), "Best Hair and Makeup", "Best Dressed", "Most Likely to Fall off Stage" (Cait), and "Best Jazz Musician" (Billy) in the 2024 Listen Up Awards, and are currently nominated for the "Cover Band of the Year" in the 2024 Eddies Awards! The Eddies will be held at Proctor's Theatre on April 21st, 2024!

The holiday season is sure to be a busy one for Lucid Street. They are currently organizing/hosting/headlining the first annual 51Aid benefit concert (which is open to all ages), and will be held at Frog Alley Brewing Company in Schenectady on 12/17/23 from 3-8. The benefit is being held for AnimaLovers, a local cat and kitten rescue. They are proud to say that the local music community has truly come together for this amazing cause, and the concert will feature aBlast (Kevin Brandow, Mike Shudt, Dave Brennan), Beth Tranka (The Refrigerators), Keri Alonzo (Jukebox Rebellion), Tommy Love, Al Bruno, Athena Christian (Contagious), Rich Romano (Skeeter Creek), Matty D, Ky McClinton, Chelsea Brandow, Deb Hedley, Vanna, and Bethany Autumn.

It's Been a Hot Minute; So Let's Catch Up.
Hello Lucid Street fans! The date is August 12, 2023, and it has been FAR too long since we've updated you on what we have going on!
For starters, we played our first out of state show on July 22nd in Washington D.C. at Madams Organ. The show and the crowd were amazing, and we had a line down the entire street! (Photos below) Thank you D.C. , and we hope to be back soon!
We are currently in not one, but TWO competitions! Lucid Street was selected to compete in Audacy's Opening Act competition, and we have been doing exceptionally well! If we make it to the top, we will win $10,000, a trip to NYC, and the ability to open for some of the biggest acts in the industry at the Prudential Center. We have steadily been holding down 3rd place, and are currently in the final 10 of our group, but we need your help to make it all the way to the top! You can press here to vote!
Lucid Street is also currently nominated for the Daily Gazette's Best of The Best 2023! We need your help to make sure that we make it past the nominations phase and into the finals. To nominate us, press here, scroll to the Entertainment & Leisure section, scroll down to Best Band, and nominate Lucid Street! Nominations end 8/19 and voting opens 8/20.
As for upcoming shows, we will be back at Exit 33 at Turning Stone Resort & Casino 8/25/2023, although this time we will be playing at "The Gig". We can't wait to rock with you all! Additionally, we will be playing our first theatre show on 9/29 at The Strand Theatre in Hudson Falls, NY. Tickets will be available for purchase soon.
To close off this lengthy news update, thank you all for being such amazing fans, and we have some exciting show announcements and Lucid Street surprises coming soon! We can't talk about them yet, but as soon as we can, you'll be the first to know.

Successful first show at Turning Stone Casino
Lucid Street played their first show at Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, NY on 6/10/2023. The band performed at the 'Turquoise Tiger' along with new member, Kevin Warren on saxophone. They had a wonderful show, and cannot wait to play Turning Stone again 8/25/23, but this time at 'The Gig'.
Packed Weekend Ahead!
Lucid Street has an amazing weekend ahead. If you are in the Albany area, be sure to attend their show "on Broadway" at Lost & Found in the heart of Albany on Friday 3/24. Show starts at 9 PM and there is a $10 cover. On Saturday 3/25, Lucid Street will be doing an interview for the Unsigned518 podcast. Additionally, if you are based further north, be sure to catch our first show of the season at Bebob's Backstreet BBQ on 3/25, starting at 7:00 PM. We can't miss this weekend, so you certainly can't either!

Amazing show with Sydney Worthley at Putnam Place!
Our show at Putnam Place for Cait's Birthday Bash was a huge hit! Unfortunately, Watchdog had to back out last minute, but Sydney and Lucid Street certainly rocked the stage. Check out these photos by Dakota Gilbert for Nippertown!

On 2/22, Lucid Street finds out they made the Bracket for the Nippertown March 'Music' Madness awards. All contestants had to be original bands. The winner receives $1600, free studio time, and a place in this year's Nipperfest. Please vote for us! Voting for the first round ends on Saturday.
A Packed Day!
on 2/18/23 Lucid Street had a radio interview on 88.3 THE SAINT with host Colin Bauer, after that they went to a photoshoot and practice with Sydney Worthley. Shades of Red debuted on 2/19!
Nolan Hassler is Lucid Street's New Guitarist
Chris Piccini steps down from his role as lead guitarists, and hours later, Nolan Hassler steps into his role. We are so excited and can't wait to work with him!
