Meet Lucid Street

Lucid Street first embarked on their musical voyage of discovery together as a tight-knit rock band in the age of Covid, meeting each other at a series of open mic events just as the world was re-opening.

A couple of personnel changes were required in order to make the perfect line up. Founding member Cait & original members Phil and Billy all met at an open mic in 2021, however a necessary drummer change allowed them to find Mike at an open mic at the start of 2022, and a couple of guitarist changes caused the four to meet Nolan at an audition in 2022 and invite him into the band at the start of 2023.

Lucid Street has collectively found their signature sound and offers something different and unique to their fans by recreating the cream of classic rock, playing the songs that no other bands can.  The group is known to not “pick a lane” and instead successfully play all your favorite genres and artists, including (but not limited to), rock (Queen, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Heart, Dio, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Evanescence), R&B (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, George Michael), disco (Earth Wind & Fire, The Bee Gees, The Emotions, Chic), pop (Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Dua Lipa, Elton John, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Rhianna, Wham), and much more!

Lucid Street is also avidly working on their original material, with their songs "Potential Redemption" and "The Dragon Song" becoming popular amongst fans. On November 2nd, 2024 "Potential Redemption" was released as the band's first studio single. Live singles of songs like "A.D.D" and "Shades of Red" (recorded in 2022) as well as "Potential Redemption" can be found on all streaming platforms with live videos of them on the Lucid Street YouTube page. 2024 has also been the best year to date for the band outdoing the success in 2023 with 50 shows, a couple of studio single releases in preparation for an album release in early Q1 of 2025. The band have racked up close to 300 songs in the repetoire with 10 originals already in rotation. Also in 2024 the band celebrated some significant highlights starting with a big support slot with 'Vixen' in January, support at 'Dad Fest Albany' in June 2024, their 100th show at 'Cook Park Amphiteatre' in July, and regular visits to Rivers Casino, Turning Stone, and The Strand Theater.

Looking ahead already to 2025, you can expect an album early in the year, regular visits to Rivers Casino & Resort, The Strand Theater, and Lake George Beach Club. Lucid Street are also proud to announce that they will be opening for 'Marillion' Montreal Weekend Convention on March 28th, 2025 in Canada. This will be furthest north for the band with their gig territotry stretching from Washington D.C's 'Madam's Organ' to the south, to the L'Olympia Thatre to the north. There is always something new and happening in the world of Lucid Street.
